Lentil and herring salad

Full of flavour


You need: (for 2 people)

  • 70g uncooked green lentils
  • 150g of herring
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 half teaspoon of mustard
  • 2 teaspoons kina-karo balsamic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt & pepper

  1. Cook the lentils for 25 minutes in boiling water and add salt at the end.
  2. Cut the herring into strips and set aside.
  3. Mix the mustard, kin- karo balsamic and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Drain and cool the lentils. Finely chop the shallot.
  5. Add it to the lentils, herring and dressing and mix well.
Tip: This recipe can also be created with garrigue vinegar or plain balsamic.
