Tofu and mushrooms

A nice alternative


You need: (for 2 people)

  • 300g of button mushrooms
  • 200g of tofu
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 15cl of liquid cream
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet mustard
  • 3 tablespoons Rancio vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt & Pepper

  1. Wash and slice the mushrooms. Cut the tofu into cubes. Peel and chop the garlic and shallot.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the shallot and garlic for 3 minutes.
  3. Add the tofu and mushroom slices and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Then add the Rancio vinegar. Mix and reduce.
  5. Pour in the crème fraîche and mustard. Mix, let it reduce at low temperature for a few minutes.
  6. Add salt and pepper and serve
Tip: This recipe can also be created with Walnut and Curry Balsamic or Truffle Balsamic.
