Caramelised bananas

For a gourmet dessert


You will need: (for 2 people)

  • 2 bananas
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 3cl combava and Madagascar vanilla vinegar
  • A knob of butter

  1. Peel and cut the bananas in half lengthways.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan, add the bananas and sprinkle with sugar.
  3. Let the bananas caramelise for 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the combava and vanilla vinegar and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Enjoy immediately.
Tip: This recipe can also be created with apricot balsamic or mango and ginger vinegar.
